Timothy Dolata Obituary
Timothy Dolata, 62, Green Bay, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at his cabin in Porterfield. He was born in Lena on February 26, 1953 to the late Dominic and Margaret Dolata. Tim attended UW Madison from 1971-1975 studying History/Political Science and Gonzaga University from 1976-1979 earning a Doctorate of Law. His passion was the outdoors enjoying snowmobiling, four wheeling, fishing and hunting. The cabin was his favorite place to be.
Tim is survived by his three children, his daughter Melissa Dolata Whitver (Jon) and their three sons, Peyton, Grayson and Lincoln; his sons, Dominic Dolata and Danny Dolata. Tim had a special place in his heart for his fianceé, Stephanie Mandich. He is further survived by his former wife of 25 years, Kathy Dolata, the mother of his children; brothers and sisters, Mary Dolata; Bonnita (Jim) Zipperer; Linda (Bob) Kinziger; Peggy (Mike) Arndt; Joe (Debbie) Dolata; Germaine Dolata. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; and a great-great niece.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Paul.
Family and friends may call at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 2771 Oakwood Drive, Green Bay, on Friday, Mar. 13, 2015 from 9:30 until 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 a.m. Friday at the church with Rev. Tim, Hard to believe you´ve been gone for seven years. Your passing left such a hole in Ralph´s heart and life, it is impossible to fill. We still speak of you often and when discussing the current world events Ralph will often interject how he thinks you would feel about things. You were his sounding board and he misses your steadying influence when trying to make sense of where the world is going. I´ve never seen a more beautiful friendship than the one you shared. Dear Dolata family, I went to law school with Tim at Gonzaga. Tim had a close group of good friends during his law school years. Of course he did, he was a loyal friend and a great guy! Word of Tim's passing has spread from coast to coast among this group. We were all very saddened to hear this news, but we will not forget Tim.

So very sad to hear Tim has passed away. He was subrogation counsel on many personal injury cases I handled over the years. In 1980 your Dad represented my Dad in a legal matter. My parents had been in a horrible auto accident and my mother who was 50 at that time died at the hands of a drunken driver.My Father was critically injured and very sad at the loss of his wife. Your Father was so very kind to my Dad when he needed it most and I have never forgotten his compassion. I pray that God will bless Tim and your entire family.

To all the Dolata family, I have been saying constant prayers and wishing I was there to hug and cry and look you in the eye to share in your sorrow. I find peace in thinking of the blessed reunion that I believe must be going on in heaven as he is welcomed by your dear Mom and Dad and Paul. Though he is gone from our sight, he has never left. He will be with you always, he is in your hearts forever. The love and joy you shared while walking on this earth together will always be with you. Tim touched many lives, mine included. I worked with him during our AMS days and I loved him dearly. I loved his smile and laugh. When ever I needed his advice he was always willing to help and/or lead me in the direction I needed to go.
