Ulysses Turner Obituary
Ulysses Turner Jr., 62, Green Bay, Wisconsin, died on Monday, August 25, 2014.
He was born in Miami, Florida on August 2, 1952 to Ulysses and Carrie (McCollum) Turner.
He attended Killian Sr. High School in Miami, Florida. Ulysses just retired from Legends in Howard after over 15 years there. He has lived in Wisconsin; Milwaukee and Green Bay; for over 40 years.
He loved both fresh and salt water fishing. Ulysses was an avid baseball and football enthusiast, and also attended the National Drag Racing Championships in Indianapolis for several years with several close friends. His knowledge about movies and music was exceptional and loved to be tested. He had a way to diffuse any stressful situation and get everyone to relax by talking and the wonderful massages that was requested by all.
Ulysses is survived by his mother, Carrie Clark and the special person in his life, Pat Staeven, also by his special "brothers", Max Pearlstein and Bob DeBus. He was preceded in death by his father and stepfather Sherman Clark. He sadly missed his pup Precious who was by his side till the age of 16 years.
A memorial is planned at the Duck Creek VFW in Howard on Saturday, Sept. 6, 2014 at 4 pm. The memorial service will be at 5 pm. with Minister Richard Schiller officiating. Cotter Funeral Home is assisting the family.
A private funeral will be held in Miami, Florida at a later date.
