Victoria Baker Obituary
Victoria "Vicki" L. (Rost) Baker, 58, of Green Bay, passed away Thursday, December 25, 2014 at her home. Vicki was born January 7, 1956 in Coleman to Bill and Marion (Konop) Rost. She graduated from Coleman High School in 1974. Vicki married Robert Baker, Sr. in 1975 and they later divorced. She lived most of her life in the Coleman area. Besides being a homemaker she held various jobs. Vicki enjoyed her flower garden and feeding the birds and squirrels. However her greatest passion was her love for her children and grandchildren. Vicki also enjoyed the birthday lunches with her sisters and sometimes including Aunt Sharon.
She is survived by three sons, and one daughter, Jacob Baker, Green Bay; Robert, Jr. and Roxy Baker, Rosedale, Maryland; Leland Baker and fiancée Jennifer, Richfield; Tara Baker, Madison; three grandsons, Rowan, Caleb and Landon, two granddaughters, Lydia and Ayva and a grand baby on the way. She is also survived by three sisters and three brothers, Allen and JoAnn Rost, Green Bay; Diane and Art Skarda, Coleman; Carla and David Stodola, Lena; Jerome Rost, Coleman; Bonnie Rosner, Green Bay; Dennis and Colleen Rost, Coleman; one step-brother and two step-sisters, Jeff and Rosie Nowak, Coleman; Kathy and Danny Fischer, Underhill; Julie and Joe Baranek, Oconto; her former mother-in-law Della Baker, Coleman and special friend Joan Loeffler, Green Bay. Vicki was preceded in death by her parents, step-mother Cleo Rost, step-brother Mike Nowak, nephew Tony Stodola and former father-in-law Jim Baker.
The family will greet relatives and friends Tuesday, December 30th from 9 A.M. until the time of the Funeral Service at 11 A.M. at St. Anne Catholic Church, Coleman with Deacon Peter Gard officiating. Vicki will be placed to rest at St. John Catholic Cemetery, Coleman. Please visit rhodescharapata.com to express online condolences. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund will be established.

Vicki's passing is hard to believe. My deepest sympathy to all her loved ones. Vicki and I would ride horses at her house, we did many fun things together as young children. Vicki was a beautiful person!

Very sad to hear this just now. To all her family and friends, I send my deepest sympathy and condolances. she was always a joy. Most recently while communicating on face book. she always answered right away and her concern for me and other friends was comforting to me as I have not been home very often the last 40 years. The Rost family was always very nice to me. I am especially sad for my good longtime buddy Jerome. He has always been a close friend. So sorry old friend. I hope you and all the family will get through this loss of a fine lady, who was loved dearly. She will be missed. I wish I could be there tommorow. God Bless and guide you through this terible time. Forgive me for not staying in better contact with my great friends from Coleman, The best times in my life were with you all. You made my time there most memorable, Thank you so much. Be Strong.
