XENIA — Barbara L. Davison passed away from this life to enter Heaven on Thursday March 13, 2014. Barbara was born May 6, 1926 the daughter of Thomas and Doris Timmons. She had two sisters Beverly and Mary and a brother Thomas. She was married on her birthday to Gene Davison and they were the proud parents of Timothy Gene Davison and Angela Lynn (Davison) Applegate. All of these family members preceded her in death. Those who will continue to love and miss her are: granddaughter: Heather (Steve) Mowery and great granddaughters: Cassidy and Kenzie; granddaughter: Julie Davison; grandson: Garrett (Debbie) Davison; great- grandchildren: Lourdes, Crisdean and Gabriella; grandson: Travis (Alisa) Davison and great grandchildren: Austin and Taylor; daughter-in-law: Edie (Dan) Baker; nephew: Mark (Debbie) Nichols; nieces: Mary Ellen Nichols, Tara and Mark Allen Mercer and Tammy Hale. Barbara was a legal secretary and a medical records secretary for many years. She loved to read and had a great sense of humor. She and Gene were members at the Xenia Nazarene Church and taught the Senior Adult Sunday School class at the Xenia Nazarene Church for many years. Her faith and trust in God saw her through many trial in her life but she remained faithful and talked about it often. Funeral service will be 1:00 PM Tuesday March 18, 2014 at the Xenia Church of the Nazarene 1204 West 2nd St. Xenia, Ohio with Rev. Harold Horton officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon until the time of service at the Church. Interment will follow at Silvercreek Cemetery Jamestown, Ohio. Services are in care of McColaugh Funeral Home, 826 N Detroit St. Xenia, Ohio. Online condolences can be made at www.mccolaughfuneralhome.com.
