XENIA — Carrie Ann Butler , 30 lost her battle with drug addiction Thursday August 25, 2016 in Xenia, Ohio. Carrie was born August 16, 1986 in Xenia, Ohio the daughter of Loyd Carter (Jennifer Lyne) and Jana Satterfield Gordon (David). Carrie is preceded in death by her sister: Terri Marie Satterfield and her grandfather: Thomas Satterfield. Along with her parents Carrie is survived by her grandparents: Janey Satterfield , Everett and Judy Carter; daughters: Jaila Butler, Josie Butler, Carisma Painter; son: Jeremy Michael Butler Jr.; sisters: Christine Blanton (Travis), Jerica Carter, Jennifer Lemley (Bobby), Haley Carter, Heather Gillem (Leroy) and Jasmine Carter; brothers: Joshua Blanton (April) and BJ Shelley and step mother Dana Wylie. Carrie was a member of the Recovery Ministry at Lighthouse Baptist Church in Xenia. Carrie loved life and all kids. A candle light vigil will be held Sunday August 28, 2016 at 8:00 PM at the Shawnee Park Xenia, Ohio. Funeral services will be held 12:00 PM Tuesday August 30, 2016 at the Lighthouse Baptist Church 2040 West 2nd St. Xenia, Ohio 45385. Family will receive friends Tuesday August 30, 2016 from 11:00 AM until the 12:00 PM at the Church. Memorial contributions can be made in Carrie's name to the Lighthouse Baptist Church Recovery Ministry 2040 W 2nd St. Xenia, Ohio 45385. Services are in care of McColaugh Funeral Home 826 N. May you find peace in the comfort of the arms of the lord, you will be sadly missed may god comfort the family in this time of loss may they take comfort knowing that you are with the lord and will be forever his angle watching from above, no words can express how deeply hurt and at a loss you may all feel, our prayers are with you always.
