David Heath Obituary

MASSACHUSETTS —David Bruce Heath (77) passed peacefully with his family at his side, on 25 October, 2025 in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, ending a long battle with Parkinson's.

David is survived by his wife Ann, his son Gregory (Kelsey), granddaughter Cleo, and daughter Margaret (Lu). His sister Judith (William) Wagner, nephew Bryan (Catherine), niece Jennifer (Rusty), and nephew-in-law, Eric Wagner. Along with his half-siblings: Janice Bear, Dale Young (Brenda), and Elaine Sothard (Howard). He is preceded in death by his parents, Henry & Thelma Heath; his biological mother, Mary Young.

David pursued many successful careers as an educator, actor, and editor. He was a man of many talents, most notably: his gift of music. David was often seen holding a guitar and singing loudly.

A memorial will be held in the spring of 2026, at White Bear Unitarian Universalist Church, Mahtomedi, MN.

David's family would like to thank Mt Greylock ECF, Pittsfield, MA and HospiceCare in the Berkshires for the care they provided David in his final days.
