FAIRBORN — Esther Fulton, age 91, of Fairborn, passed away on April 6, 2022, at home, surrounded by family. She was born in Yellow Springs, Ohio to Lola & Vernon Randall. After graduating from Central High School in Xenia, Ohio in 1948, Esther worked at Furay's Drug Store and Joe Holly's Cleaners. She was married to James Fulton on April 1st, 1951, and was a loving mother and wife, dedicated to her family. She was ever-present supporting children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren at every opportunity. She enjoyed her weekly dinner, game, and card nights with her friends for many years, as well as her cross-country trips and close bond with her cousin Sis and Ronnie Hook. Her cooking was legendary, and the family relished her from-scratch noodles and oatmeal cookies. She loved her life on the family farm. Esther was preceded in death by her husband of 67 incredible years, James "Jimmy" Fulton, parents, Lola & Vernon Randall, brothers: Eugene Randall & Leonard (Marlene) Randall, and Tim Murphy, who was like a son. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Donna Randall, her children: Jeffery (Tammy) Fulton, Gregory (Tonasena) Fulton, Joseph (Amy) Fulton, Dennis (Annette) Fulton, Cynthia (Anthony) Cherpeski; 13 Grandchildren: Amber Fulton (Scott Adkins), Brandi (Eric) Mrenak, Casey (Austin) Cox, Keturah (Anthony) Wynn, Corbett Fulton, Kaliyah Fulton, Jacob (Sarah) Fulton, Zachary (Heather) Fulton, Danielle (Robert) Conner, Nichole (Kyle) Broekhuis, James Fulton, Jonathan Cherpeski (Jenna Stone), and Logan Cherpeski. Esther has left a legacy of 12 great-grandchildren with 2 more on the way, and innumerable friends as close as family. A viewing will be held on Monday, April 11th from 6 to 8 pm, and funeral services will be held, Tuesday, April 12th at 11 am, at Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, OH 45324. Esther will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband at Enon Cemetery, Enon, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to Ohio's Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, OH 45420, in Esther's memory.
