Jeffrey Pitstick Obituary

FAIRBORN - Jeffrey Louis Pitstick, age 67 of Fairborn, passed away Friday October 9, 2015. He was born October 2, 1948 in Springfield, the son of the late Eugene and Edna (Hieb) Pitstick. Jeff served his country in the U.S. Army Reserve and in civil service at Wright-Patterson AFB; and was self-employed as a Certified Public Accountant, retiring in 2013. He was a member of Mary, Help of Christians Church, the Knights of Columbus, and was an avid golfer. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Diane; two children, Cassandra Pitstick (Mike Morgan), Katelyn Pitstick; a grandson, Mason Morgan; five siblings, Gene (Barb) Pitstick, Maggie (Terry) Lee, Sarah (Richard) Adkins, Nick (Natalie) Pitstick, Matt (Jodi) Pitstick; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family. The family will receive friends on Sunday October 11, 2015 from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday October 12, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. at the Mary, Help of Christians Catholic Church, 954 N. Maple Ave., Fairborn, Father Thomas A. Nevels officiating. The family will also receive friends from 9:00 A.M. until the time of mass at the church. Memorial contributions, if desired, may be made to the American Heart Association. Jeff and I play ball together at Georgetown and,were Frat brothers. When I think of Jeff. I always have a smile on my face he was a great guy to be around and be a friend with.
