CEDARVILLE — John Franklin Henderson, age 81, of Cedarville, went Home to be with his Lord on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at Soin Medical Center. He was born October 4, 1939 in Montclair, New Jersey, the son of Alice Louise (Fuller) and Benjamin Franklin Henderson. John is survived by his wife, Margaret (Thomson) Henderson, whom he married June 20, 1964; his children: Sandra Lynn (Bart) Sheridan; Charles Franklin (Christine) Henderson; David Livingstone (Rachel) Henderson and Catherine Elizabeth (Jesse) Meekins; 19 grandchildren: Luke, John-Keith, Nathan and Abigail Sheridan; Emily Shaw; Anna Rose, Benjamin Franklin, Charlotte, William, Caroline, Christian, Victoria and Andrew Henderson; Emmit, Aletheia, Eden, Verity, Selah and Justus John Meekins; 7 great grandchildren; a sister: Virginia (David) Mouw; as well as a host of other relatives and friends. John received his education in Electrical Engineering, but spent many years in business management, finishing the last 15 years of his career in construction management. John spent his life serving Jesus Christ, his retirement gave him more opportunities to share his faith in Jesus around the world through various ministries. He had been an active member of Grace Baptist Church in Cedarville. John also enjoyed bicycling and playing the harmonica. Services will be held 11 AM Monday, September 20, 2021 at Grace Baptist Church, Cedarville with Pastor Brian Hanson officiating. Visitation will be held 2:30-4:30 PM Sunday at the church.
