XENIA — Leora Jean Rinehart, 89, of Xenia, passed away Wednesday, August 24, 2022, at Ohio Living Quaker Heights, Waynesville. She was born October 4, 1932, in Highland County, Ohio, the daughter of Lawrence and Alta Shaw Cummings. She is survived by her husband, Herschel Eugene Rinehart, whom she married in 1951, children, Bob (Ruth) Rinehart, and Jim (Lynn) Rinehart, of Waterloo, SC, Bruce (Sue) Rinehart, Columbus, Rick (Melinda) Rinehart, Bill (Julie) Rinehart, and Mark (Melissa) Rinehart, all of Xenia, grandchildren, Jeff (Angela) Rinehart, Mike (Mandy) Rinehart, Aaron (Erin) Rinehart, Kegan (Tyler) Johnson, Teah (Ken) Brandt, Jimmy (Allison) Rinehart, Michelle Rinehart, Evan Rinehart, Emily Rinehart (fiancé, Nick Smith) and Ian Rinehart, great-grandchildren, Allison, Abigail, Nathan, Brandon, Luke, Kylee, Autumn, Emma, Ava, and Cayne, a great-great-grandson, Grayson, by several nieces and nephews, and by many close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, a granddaughter, Elizabeth Rinehart, and by a brother, Rodger Cummings. Leora will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Services will be held at 12 noon, Monday, August 29, at Liberty Worship Center, 1180 Upper Bellbrook Rd., Xenia, with Pastor Todd Martin officiating. Visitation will be held from 10am Monday until service time. Burial will be in Valley View Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Heart in Hand Crochet for Cancer (check payable to Sandy Fadeley, with Heart in Hand in memo), P.O.
