XENIA — Norman R. LaPierre, 89, of Xenia, Ohio, passed away at Harmony Nursing on June 1, 2022. He was born July 28, 1932, in Van Buren, Maine the son of Ulysses and Marguerite (Violet) LaPierre. He was a member of St. Brigid Church, and the Knights of Columbus. As well as a member of the USA Judo Association for over 57 years. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force, and retired from WPAFB. He is survived by his wife, Evaline E. (Kunk) LaPierre, whom he married, January 20, 1979, a daughter, Lynn Brown (husband Dean), of Xenia, three sons, Mark LaPierre (wife Elise), of Louisville, KY, Daniel Hamberg, of Beavercreek, Mike Mullin, of Dayton, and by numerous foster children. He will be missed by his grandchildren, brothers and sisters, several nieces and nephews, and by many close friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother and sister. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10am, June 9th at St. Brigid Catholic Church, 312 Fairground Rd., Xenia. Visitation will be held Wednesday June 8th from 5-8pm at Neeld Funeral Home, 1276 N. Detroit St., Xenia.. Condolences may be made to the family at www.NeeldFuneralHome.com.

I'm so sorry for your loss he was a sweet man.I enjoy taking care of him he was a funny man.I will always remember him.Love and prayers .
