XENIA — Norton B. Doran, 73, of Xenia, passed away Saturday, September 11, 2021, at Soin Medical Center, Beavercreek. He was born April 19, 1948, in Xenia, Ohio, the son of Robert J. and Frances (Norton) Doran. He was a 1966 graduate of Xenia High School and was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, serving in the Vietnam War. He was an amateur radio enthusiast, and enjoyed collecting railroad pocket watches and antique clocks. After serving in Vietnam, Norton worked "Out West" in the oil fields and was known as a "Landman". Later in life, he self-published 3 books. He is survived by his wife, Nancy (Sexton) Doran, a brother, Robert J. (Paula) Doran, Jr, brothers-in-law, Don (Susie) Sexton, Ron (Sue) Sexton, Tim (Peggy) Sexton, a sister-in-law, Alicja Sexton, by many nieces and nephews, and by many close friends. Norton will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a favorite charity in his memory.
