MEDWAY — Roberta J. Coppock, age 78, currently of Medway, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, November 8, 2021 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born October 5, 1943 in Union City, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her father: Paul Edward Brandt; mother: Mary J. McFarland Brandt Vanatta; a brother: Paul Edward Brandt II; a grandchild and great grandchildren. Roberta is survived by her husband: Pastor Paul Ronald Coppock, whom she married August 5, 1961; children: Cathy (Chuck) Middlestetter of Brookville, OH; Alan (Melody) Coppock of Corbin, KY; Becky (Brian) Liming of Xenia and Jonathan (Ronalee) Coppock of Waynesville, OH; sisters: Paulletta (Tom) Whitehead of Xenia and Tonja (Mitchell) Coy of Westfield, IN; 12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren with one expected soon. Roberta was a registered nurse for 46 years, retiring from Southview Hospital. She had cared for numerous patients locally at Good Samaritan, Grandview and Greene Memorial Hospitals as well. She was a faithful "pastor's wife," serving alongside her husband at churches in Arkansas, Michigan, and Illinois and nearby at Dayton Ave. Baptist Church in Xenia. She was a member of the Crestview Baptist Church. If desired, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton in Roberta's memory. A memorial service will be held at 1 PM Saturday, November 20th at the Crestview Baptist Church, 6600 Salem Ave., Clayton, Ohio 45315 with Pastor Tim Cain officiating. The family will greet friends Saturday from Noon until the time of service at the church. She will be interred privately at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
