JAMESTOWN — Stephen Leach, 75, passed away Friday, March 16, 2018 at his Jeffersonville, Ohio residence. Mr. Leach was born in Jamestown, Ohio on September 25, 1942 to Howard and Phyllis (Coss) Leach. Stephen's passion for the outdoors drove both his professional and personal endeavors. He spent his life working with and for farmers providing agricultural support and services, and enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing, wildlife and nature. Stephen is survived by his wife, Shirley Leach; children: Darin Leach (Laurie), Steven Duane Leach (Teresa), Teri Banion (Jeff), Lynne Banion and Anita Farrell Schuller; 10 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; step-children: Toni Fisher, Steve Adams, Larry Adams, Tom Adams; brother, Howard Leach; sister, Melody Smith. Preceding Stephen in death are his parents, Howard and Phyllis Leach; brothers, Kenny Leach and Todd Leach. Visitation will be held Friday, March 23, 2018 from 6:00 p.m..-8:00 p.m. at Powers-Kell Funeral Home in Jamestown, Ohio. Cremation has been observed. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Crossroads Hospice, 8069 Washington Village Drive, Dayton Ohio, 45458. A private memorial service will be held at a future date.
