JAMESTOWN — Steven L. Linkhart, age 72, of Jamestown, Ohio passed away Monday, July 19, 2021 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born January 23, 1949 in Dayton, the son of George Carl and Lenna (Woods) Linkhart. Steve was preceded in death by his parents, a grandson: Stephen Joseph Linkhart and siblings: Georgianna Dudley; Kenny, Ronnie and Norman Linkhart. He is survived by his wife, Marsha (Pepple) Linkhart, whom he married July 13, 1968; children: Brent Linkhart (Melissa Minton) of Kettering; Kara (Jesse) Holbert of Jamestown and Jerid Linkhart of Galena; sisters: Karen Charles and Marsha Mullins; grandchildren: Miranda Linkhart; Westin and Whitley Holbert; 2 great granddaughters: Ariana Faith and Adriana Kimberly Lynn; numerous nieces and nephews, as well as a host of other relatives and friends. Steve graduated from Xenia High School, Class of 1967. He retired from General Motors-Harrison Radiator Division. He was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes fan. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson and playing golf. Steve had been a youth baseball coach, and also enjoyed watching the game. He especially loved boating on Shawnee Lake with his family and spending time with them at the pool. Graveside services will be held 10:30 AM Friday, July 23rd at Silvercreek Cemetery, Jamestown with Sandra Wiget officiating.
