JAMESTOWN —Thomas S. Hoskins, age 56, of Jamestown, passed away Saturday, November 29, 2025, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born February 20, 1969, in Dayton, Ohio, the son of Judy Ann (Hamilton) and Jonathan Charles Hoskins. In addition to his parents. Tom was preceded in death by his brother: Michael Hoskins. Tom is survived by his loving wife, Tracy (Walker) Hoskins, whom he married on March 12, 1988; his children, Corissa Hoskins (Rob Hanna) of Jamestown, Andrew (Alexa) Hoskins of Miamisburg, and Tommy Hoskins of Jamestown; his brothers, Jonathan Hoskins of Dayton and Timothy Hoskins Of Jeffersonville; and a host Of nieces, nephews, Other relatives, and friends. He also leaves behind his beloved dogs, Mack and Penny. Tom graduated from Xenia High School, Class of 1987. A standout athlete, he was a decorated wrestler who was inducted into the Xenia Athletic Hall of Fame, both individually and as part of his team. His love for the sport continued long after high school as he devoted countless hours to coaching his sons and many young athletes across Xenia and Dayton. He coached his sons to three state championships, a second-place finish, two third-place finishes, and a fifth-place finish. When coaching at Legacy Christian, Tom founded the wrestling program and grew it into a powerhouse, leading the team to three state titles. He took pride in shaping young athletes—teaching discipline, toughness, and character both on and off the mat. Tom proudly served as a firefighter in the United States Air Force during the Gulf War, where he also competed as a wrestler representing the Air Force. His commitment to service, both to his country and to others, was a defining part of his life. A man of deep faith, Tom was a member of Centerbrook Church and lived his life with steadfast devotion to the Lord. He was dedicated to his family, the strength of his home, a loyal husband, a proud father, and someone his family could always count on. Above all, Tommy's relationship with Jesus Christ shaped every part Of his life. His deep faith, gentle spirit, and servant's heart touched everyone who knew him. A celebration of his life will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, December 13th, at Centerbrook Church, 4030 W. Franklin St., Bellbrook, OH 45305, with Pastor Joe Horner officiating. Friends and family are invited to gather and share remembrances of Tom beginning at 1 p.m. until the time of service. Military honors will be conducted at the start of the service.
