Thomas M. Lovejoy

Thomas M. Lovejoy, 85, of Jamestown, passed away Saturday, November 2, 2013, at his residence. He was born April 15, 1928, in Nitro, West Virginia, the son of Charles and Ida Williams Lovejoy. He was a member of the Pentecostal Church, Enon, Ohio, and was a veteran of the United States Army, serving during World War II. He is survived by his spouse, Ruth E. (Freelan) Pritchard Lovejoy, two sons and daughters-in-law, Mike (Debbie) Lovejoy and Jeffrey (Denise) Lovejoy, both of Fairborn, by five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, by children of his spouse, Matthew (Regina) Pritchard, Fairborn, Tina (Roger) Bateman, Dayton, and Jeanine (David) Young, Jamestown, a sister, Sylvia Spahr, Jamestown, a brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth (Mary) Lovejoy, Fairborn, by several nieces and nephews, and by many close friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, by a son, Timothy Lovejoy, by two brothers, Clifford Lovejoy and Gaylen Lovejoy, and by four sisters. Tommy will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Graveside services will be held at 10am, Thursday, November 7, 2013, at the Dayton National Cemetery, Dayton.
