JAMESTOWN — Victoria Ruth "Vicki" Cox, age 75, of Jamestown, and formerly of Cambridge, Ohio passed away Monday, January 22, 2024 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born in Cambridge, Ohio on May 6, 1948, the daughter of Rebecca "June" (Charleston) and David Emerson Clark, both deceased. Vicki graduated from Cambridge High School. She was a very talented vocalist, singing in choirs since the seventh grade. She was currently active with the Shawnee Hills Baptist Church, where she also sang in the Seniors Choir and was a member of the SIS group. She was formerly a member of the Trinity Baptist Church and the Trinity Treasures in Cambridge. Vicki retired from the Cambridge State Hospital, where she worked in the Therapeutic Program and enjoyed working with the Geriatric unit. She is survived by her loving husband, William A. "Bill" Cox, whom she married April 26, 1985; sons: Martin Lehotay and Marcus (Brandy) Lehotay; brother: Michael David Clark; grandchildren: Brennan (Chelsey), Taylor, Dylan (Kaitlyn), and David Lehotay; Trevor and Jarret Brundege; 2 great grandchildren: Skylar and Collins; as well as nieces and nephews: Amy (Greg) Nelson; Gabe (Amanda) Clark; Mark (Jessie) Clark and Miki Erickson. Services will be held 11:30 AM Thursday, January 25, 2024 at Shawnee Hills Baptist Church, 3490 Jasper Road, Jamestown, OH with Pastor Adam McCune officiating. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial to follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Bowersville. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Hospice of Dayton in memory of Vicki. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.mccolaughfuneralhome.com.
