Aaron Miller Obituary

Aaron Miller

Aaron Kay Miller, age 66, passed away on Monday, September 22, 2025, at Johnson City Medical Center, surrounded by his family. He was born in Greeneville, TN to the late Gordon and Goldene Miller.

Aaron was a 1977 graduate of Greeneville High School. Aaron was an active member of Calvary Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon. He previously attended Union Chapel FWB Church and was instrumental in the bus ministry by keeping the buses maintained. He was a retired employee of the parts department at Bachman-Bernard Chevrolet and formerly Lawson's Chevrolet. He inherited the family's musical talent and played bass guitar in church, family radio broadcasts and recordings. Aaron had a loving heart, was dedicated to his family, and strived to help others when he could. Aaron was known for his sense of humor and was a devoted Dale Earnhardt Sr. fan.

He is survived by his sister: Jewel Stevenson; niece: Tonya Stevenson (Marvin Long); special great nephew: Jet Long; many special cousins; special aunts and uncles who were like brothers and sisters: Zenis Childress, Ellen Carmack (Charley) and Etta Hensley (Ronnie).

The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 25, 2025, from 4-7 pm at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home in Greeneville, TN. His celebration of life service will be held following visitation at 7:00 pm. His uncle Rev. Charley Carmack and his pastor Rev. Paul Garritt will officiate. Aaron's interment will be on Friday, September 26, 2025 at 11:00 am at GreeneLawn Memory Gardens. Family and friends are requested to meet at 10:15 am Friday at the funeral home to go in procession to the cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Jackie Miller, Nathan Haney, Clay Dunaway, Danny Carmack, Anthony Fox, and James Stokely.

Aaron's family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, receptionists, and volunteers at Johnson City Medical Center along with Greeneville Greene County EMS for providing exceptional care during Aaron's transition from his earthly journey to his heavenly home. In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and Calvary Baptist Church.
