Barbara Bolton Hensley

Barbara Dee Rutledge Bolton Hensley, age 82, of Greeneville, passed away unexpectedly Monday morning at Greeneville Community Hospital.
She was a member of East Greene Free Will Baptist Church. She retired from Greene Valley Developmental Center after 23 years of service. She taught CPR for several years for American Red Cross.
Survivors include four sons: Timothy Leon Bolton of Greeneville, Anthony Lynn Bolton and wife, Christi, of Mosheim, William David Bolton and Christy Seay, Bryan Keith Bolton and wife, Julie, of Greeneville; three stepsons and wives: Junior Hensley, David Hensley, and Robbie Hensley; one sister: Tonya Rutledge White; grandchildren: Timothy Bolton II, Brandon Bolton, Brittany N. Adams, Dylan Bolton, Tyler Bolton, Brylie Bolton, Christopher Bolton, Megan Neas, Alex Bolton, Hannah Bolton, Katilyn Bolton, Gaberial Bolton, Ciara Knight, Rayna Stanley, Bradley Bolton, Devin Seay, Nick Seay, Tyler Officer, Mara Officer; great-grandchildren: Serenity Bolton, Abigail Bolton, Bradley Bolton, Eben Hope, Rylann Davis, Casen Davis, Bailey Roberts, Elijah Bolton, Jayden Adams, Harper Adams, Ayden Seay, Breleigh Seay, Kinsley Seay, Ayden Knight; several nieces and nephews; special friends: Portia Myers, Dennis and Janice Tullock, her church family, Kathy Denny, and Minia Waites.
She was preceded in death by her husbands: James Leon Bolton and Cecil Hensley; daughter-in-law: Teresa Bolton; parents: William David Rutledge and Mauvelene Charlotte Dawson Rutledge; two brothers: Robert C. Rutledge, James Dale Rutledge; grandparents: Earnest Rutledge, Ada E. Coates Rutledge, Lloyd Dawson, Willie Mae English Dawson.
The family will receive friends at Doughty-Stevens Funeral Home from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 p.m. on Thursday.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in the chapel of Doughty-Stevens Funeral Home. The Rev. Anthony Payne and the Rev. Charles Morgan will officiate. Interment will follow in Andrew Johnson National Cemetery.
Her grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
