Caleb Michael Lamb, infant son of Josh and Katie Lamb, went to be with the Lord Tuesday at the Johnson City Medical Center.
Caleb exceeded expectations at birth and continued to amaze the nurses during his time in the NICU. He was in our arms for a short time, but he will spend eternity in the arms of Jesus.
Caleb is survived by his parents: Josh and Katie Lamb; his grandparents: Mike and Michelle Lamb; aunts and uncle: Andi Lamb, and Erica and Karter Maupin; great-aunts and great-uncles: Al and Jennifer Lamb, Randy Lamb and Angie, Lesa and Tommy Thompson, and Rhonda and Michael Stanton.
He is preceded in death by his great-grandparents: Johnny and Lucille Adams, Ernest and Ruby Lawson, Bud and Faye Lamb, and J.C. Wedding.
The family expresses a special thanks to the L&D nursing staff and the Niswonger Children's Hospital NICU staff.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 on Tuesday at Jeffers Funeral Chapel at Afton. The funeral service will be Wednesday at 10am in Jeffers Funeral Chapel at Afton with Rev. Anthony Payne officiating. The graveside will follow in Graceland Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like to request donations to the Niswonger Children's Hospital NICU in Caleb's honor.
