Cecil Seaton Obituary
Cecil Ray Seaton, age 95, of Chuckey, South Central community, passed away Saturday, December 13, 2025 at home surrounded by family.
He was a lifetime farmer and attended Mt. Carmel U M Church.
He is survived by one son and daughter-in-law: Tilman and Debbie Seaton of Gray, TN; three daughters and sons-in-laws: Linda and Freddie Bible of South Central, Charlene and Doug Babb of South Central and Tina and Mike Strong of Greeneville; grandchildren: Ivan Ray Seaton of AZ, Christy Seaton of South Central, Tiffany Stanton of Greeneville and Leah Merkle of Knoxville; two great grandsons: Tyler Brewer and Ivan Cecil Seaton; one special nephew: Bobby Seaton of South Central; and one great niece: Brenda Seaton Bowers of South Central
He was the son of the late Ray and Luster Wyatt Seaton and was preceded in death by his wife: Hazel Thompson Seaton; three sisters: Mary Lillian Seaton, Lula Belle Callahan and Betty Brown; and a granddaughter: Serena Stanton.
The family will receive friends from 12- 2 pm Wednesday at Mt. Carmel UM Church at South Central with the funeral service at 2:00. Rev. Emma Ward, Michael Brown and Rev. Jeff Casteel will officiate. Interment will follow at Liberty Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Steven Painter, Jimmy Painter, Erik Fleener, Colton Fleenor, Bradley Thompson, Mike Strong.
Honorary pallbearers will be: Jeff Thomas, Doug Babb, Freddie Bible and Tilman Seaton.
Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
