Esslyn "Lynny" Yeager, 77, went to be with the Lord Sunday after a long battle with cancer.
She is survived by her husband: William "Bill" Yeager, who was so special to her; two sons and their spouses: Mike and Lorie Toole, and Chris and Jamie Gill; two daughters and a spouse: Michele and Matt Bentley, and Pam Gill; two sisters and spouses: Barbara and Truman Lollie and Virgina Libby; 14 grandchildren: including one supportive granddaughter, Alicia Gill; five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews including one special niece: Elizabeth McQueen; and her dogs: Nacho and Peanut.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Gil and Wilma Cresey; two sisters: Evelyn Lothian and Nancy Carpenter; and one brother: Chester Lothian.
She worked at Meco and retired from Huff.
She attended Fairview Cumberland Presbyterian Church and loved her church family.
Family will receive friends from 1-3 p.m. Thursday at Jeffers Funeral & Cremation Service, Afton chapel. The funeral service will follow at 3 p.m. in Jeffers Afton Chapel with the Rev. Ronnie Duncan officiating.
The graveside will follow in Graceland Memorial Gardens.
The family expresses a thank you to Dr. Patel and his staff, and hospice nurse Kathy Duncan.
