Born: August 6, 1944 | Died: February 11, 2025
Hubert Brison Foster, age 80, of Chuckey, the South Central Community, passed away Tuesday at his home.
He retired from Magnavox.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years: Kate Foster; one daughter and son-in-law: Donna and Chuck Reaves; one son: Brian Foster; son-in-law: Barry Golden; three grandsons: Joseph Reaves, Phillip Golden, and Brent Shelton; one sister: Jean Moore; one brother and sister-in-law: Earman and Wanda Foster; sisters-in-law: Sue Foster and Patsy Hampton; sister-in-law, whom he thought of as a daughter: Pamela (Wayne) Wilhoit; two brothers-in-law: Kenny Hampton and Lee Dunbar; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a daughter: Kim Golden on January 30th; his parents: Shelbie and Luie Foster; one brother: Lester Foster; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Buck and Hallie Hampton; brothers-in-law: Lynn Hampton, Phillip Hampton, and Jerry Moore.
In the spring, a celebration of his life will be held at the home of his daughter.
Doughty-Stevens Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
