Joyce Harrison Obituary
Joyce Annette Hunt Harrison, 80, of Chuckey, passed away Saturday at her home.
She attended Milburnton United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years: David Harrison; a stepdaughter: Tammy Bridwell; a stepgrandson: Jalen Bridwell; two sisters-in-law: Judy Harrison and Barbara Roberts; three brother-in-law: Carmel (Darlene) Harrison, Sam Harrison, and Richard (Judy) Harrison; and special friends: Doris McAmis, Madge Jones, and June Cofman.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Everette and Atchison McMackin; and a daughter: Lorie Hunt Pitt.
The family will receive friends from 4-7p.m. Saturday at Jeffers Funeral & Cremation Service, Afton chapel. The funeral service will follow 7 p.m. in Jeffers Afton Chapel with the Rev Vivian Franklin and Darin Harrison officiating.
Graveside service will be Sunday at 1 p.m. in Milburnton Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at noon to go in procession to the cemetery.
Pallbearers will include Richard Harrison, Carl Harrison, Jalen Bridwell, Ronnie Whitson, Mickey Tarlton, and Terry Adams.
Honorary pallbearers will include Sam Harrison, Ronnie Shelton, Henry Fannon, Tim Harrison, and Wade Harrison.
