Melissa Stuart Obituary
JONESBOROUGH - Melissa Cornelison Tipton Stuart, 50, Chuckey, passed away Thursday at University of Tennessee Medical Center.
Melissa was born Nov. 20, 1972, to James and Susan Cornelison.
She was a graduate of David Crockett High School and East Tennessee State University. Melissa was a very bright and creative person. She was a talented pianist and loved playing. She was born and raised in Jonesborough, and has spent all her life there.
Melissa was of the Christian faith.
In addition to her parents, she leaves behind her husband: Donnie Stuart; her son: Rance Allen Tipton; a stepdaughter: Whitney Laws; a brother: Keith Cornelison; a sister-in-law: Robin Sorrow Cornelison; a niece: Lauren Cornelison; several aunts and uncles; and many friends.
A visitation to celebrate Melissa's life will be from 5-7 p.m. Friday at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home. There will be no formal service.
In lieu of flowers, please make a contribution to your church, or favorite charity.
