Ralph Stacy Bible, age 85, of Limestone, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday at Durham-Hensley Nursing Home, following a brief illness.

He attended Philadelphia Church of the Nazarene and was a United States Air Force Veteran.

Ralph, was born in Greeneville, TN, on February 27, 1940, to the late Luther and Gladys Bible. He was preceded in death by his brother, A.J. Bible.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 25 years, Joan Bible; Stepson, Jamie Hensley (Leslie); Son: Christopher Bible (Noelle), daughter, Julie Tolleson (Bart), Grandchildren, Whitney Everhart (Drew), Kasey Kincheloe (Nathan); great-grandchildren: Case, River and Camden Everhart; Luke, Silas, and Azariah Kincheloe; Haley Adleta (Joey), Levi and Rachel Tolleson; Sister, Jermaine Cutshaw; Niece, Ruth Williams (Jonathan); Nephew, Charles Reese and several other special family and friends.

Ralph was also known by his Ham Radio call sign, K4MIJ, which he has been since 1957. He was a very active member In the Andrew Johnson Amateur Radio Club in Greenville, TN, he enjoyed getting to speak to others around the world through his ham radio and was an avid collector of QSL cards from those he spoke to. He was a member of the Greeneville Hiking Club and loved hiking. He had hiked most of the Appalachian Trail and was a part of working and clean-up on the trail. He was also a great gardener who kept his home beautifully landscaped with beautiful flower beds. Ralph will be greatly missed by those who loved him.

Graveside services will be conducted at Mountain Home National Cemetery at 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 9th, with the Rev. Lowell Bowens officiating. The Greene County Honor Guard will convey military honors.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
