Sandra (Sandy) Neal, age 81 of Greeneville, passed away peacefully at home after a long struggle with dementia and stroke on November 21, 2025 surrounded by a loving family at her bedside.
Sandy was employed at Magnavox for over 40 years. Some of Sandy's favorite activities included traveling, especially to Amish country, camping with close friends, and attending church as long as her health permitted.
Sandy is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Billy Neal; son, Mike Neal and girlfriend Stephanie Bitner; grandchildren, Alan-Michael and Lexi Neal; and sister, Wanda of Newberry, South Carolina.
She was preceded in death by her parents, C.E. "Lige" and Glenna Kilday; and numerous brothers and sisters.
The family will receive friends Monday, Dec.1 2025 from 4-7 pm at Jeffers Funeral Service downtown. The funeral service will be held Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2025 at 2 pm in the funeral home chapel with Chaplain Thomas McRee officiating. Interment will be in Fairview CP Church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Alan-Michael Neal, Stan Neal, Mark Brown, Joe Kilday, L.T. Daniels, and Ronnie Broyles.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy McCoy, Marty Neal, Chris Gray, and Allan Neal.
A special loving thank you is given to all Amedisys Hospice associates for their loving care.
