Timothy Thomas Obituary

Timothy A. "Uncle Tim" Thomas, of Greeneville and Piney Flats, passed away suddenly Sunday following complications from open heart surgery at Holston Valley Hospital.

He was of a kind, loving, giving and friendly nature. If you talked to him twice, he would forever refer to you as "My very good friend."

Tim was an industrious worker at many different jobs. He almost never missed a day's work. For the past five years, he was a highly valued member of HSN's inventory management team. HSN's support of Tim during his illness was greatly appreciated.

He is survived by his brother: Jon W. Thomas and his wife, Charlene; nieces: Jennifer Thomas, and Chrissy Pryor and her husband, Russ Pryor; a great-nephew: Sonny Pryor; a nephew: Tony Dan Thomas Jankovich and his fiancée, Lilli; a great-niece: Georgie; a sister-in-law: Linda Diane Thomas; and a niece: Danielle.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Scott & Ellen Thomas; brothers: Scott, David and Dan; and a sister: Barbie.

As per his final wishes, Tim was cremated and there will be no formal funeral services. A Mass for the repose of his soul will be offered at a future date by Fr. Joseph M. Hammond at Notre Dame Catholic Church, Greeneville.

Jeffers Funeral & Cremation Service is in charge of the arrangements.
