Dale Eugene Arnold,

89, of Greenfield, went home to be with the Lord on November 8, 2025. He was born November 21, 1935 in Indianapolis to the late Wallace and Letha (Hankins) Arnold. Dale proudly served his country in the U.S. Army from 1955-1958. He married Julia F. Holliday in May of 1956, and she preceded him in death on August 26, 2009 after 53 years of marriage.

Dale received his bachelor's degree in pastoral ministry from Ozark Bible College and was a pastor for over 20 years. He was a 75-year member of Shiloh Christian Church and loved to read his Bible daily. As a beloved father, he was strict, firm, fair, fun and guided his children to a firm foundation in the Lord. He enjoyed building model airplanes, playing cards, and traveling to Australia and New Zealand with his friends. For many years Dale bowled on various teams in the Indianapolis area.

Visitation will be Saturday, November 15, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. at Shirley Brothers Washington Memorial Chapel, 9606 East Washington Street.

Dale is survived by his devoted children, Barbara L. Reed, Linda L. Potter, Richard D. (Angie) Arnold, Pamela J. (Mike) Turner, Larry D. (Teresa) Arnold and Allen D. (Ruth) Arnold; 11 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother, Kenneth Arnold; and son-in-law, Paul Reed.
