Emma Musselman Obituary
Early in life, Jean worked at Delco-Remy in Anderson and RCA in Indianapolis, but her greatest dedication was to her family, a role she deeply cherished. She was actively involved in the Order of the Eastern Star and served as a Brownie leader in Fortville. A longtime member of Mohawk United Methodist Church, Jean taught Bible school and participated in church activities. She enjoyed playing Bunco with the Dizzy Dozen Bunco Club, tending to her flowers in the garden, and shopping.
Jean is survived by her daughter, Sandra (Tim) Plank of McCordsville; son-in-law, David (Debbie) Jones of Lakeland, FL; grandchildren, Ritch (Jenita) Bonisa of Indianapolis; Stacey (Kyle) Lazzell of Carmel; Adam (Tonya) Jones of Livonia, MI; Krista (Brandon) Steeno of Greenfield; Josh (Holly) Plank of Greenfield; Ashley (Mike) Schenck of Fortville; great-grandchildren, Mikala (Dalton) Perry; Kaci Gillespie; Maddie (Tyler) Hart; Lainey Rhodes; Travis Jones; Emily Jones; Conner Bonisa; Jocelyn Bonisa; Colton Plank; Shailynn Steeno; Brody Steeno; Easton Schenck; Gentry Plank; Wyatt Schenck; Brooks Schenck; five great great-grandchildren, Brantley & Bryson Perry; Ky'Aire Gillespie; Graham & Sonny Hart. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband mentioned above; daughter, Linda Jones; sister, Geraldine Knotts; brother, Gerald Knotts.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at the mortuary. Rev. Charles Pelc will officiate. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery in Greenfield.
Memorial contributions in memory of Jean can be made to the Mohawk United Methodist Church, 2045 W. 400 N. Greenfield, IN 46140. Envelopes will be available at the mortuary.
