Jed McQueen Obituary

Jed Ross McQueen, 66, of Mooresville, Indiana, passed away September 26, 2025. He was born on December 15, 1958, in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late John Robert McQueen and his mother Vivian Blanche (Juarez) McQueen.

Jed was a graduate of Warren Central High School and began his career working for his family's heating & cooling business, Bob McQueen and Sons. A point of pride for Jed was becoming owner and operator of his own heating & cooling business. He loved his work and was recognized by providing great service to his customers. Jed was known to be first on hand to help friends and neighbors in need. Most of all, Jed loved his family and cherished his grandkids.

Visitation will be on Friday, October 3, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 12:00 p.m. at Washington Memorial Chapel, 9606 E. Washington Street, Indianapolis 46229.

Jed is survived by his long-time girlfriend, Becky Lawson; sons, John McQueen, (Michelle) and Jared McQueen (Courtney); daughter, Jessica McQueen; grandchildren Joel McQueen, Lyla McQueen and Jack McQueen; sisters, Marcia Colletti (Frank) and Peggy Williams; half-brother, Joshua McQueen; and stepsister, Kelley Redman.

Jed is preceded in death by his parents and halfbrother, Jake McQueen.
