Phillip L. Rumler

Phillip Leon Rumler, age 78 of Wilkinson passed away unexpectedly October 25, 2023, in Indianapolis surrounded by his loving family. He was born February 9, 1945, in Shelbyville, Indiana to the late Paul and Helen (Carlton) Rumler.

Phillip was a 1963 graduate of Wilkinson High School and attended Purdue Extension. Prior to his retirement he was a tool & die maker for Guide Lamp in Anderson, Indiana.

Phillip was a member of the F.O.P. Lodge 140, F.O.E. Muncie where he served as past president and Conductor. He enjoyed cowboy shooting, trap shooting, bowling, fishing, and bear hunting in Canada.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Sharon (Welborn) Rumler, children, Kim Hall, and Kevin (Betsy) Rumler; grandchildren, Amanda (Chuck) McClish, Becki (Brandon Sheets) Spade, Casey (Ashley) Hall, Paul (Taylor) Rumler, and Clayton (Taylor) Rumler; great grandchildren, Max, Adalynn, Oliver, Abi, Eli, Paxton, Paitynn, and Tripp.

Friends may call from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm on Sunday, October 29, 2023, at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, 1780 West Main Street, Greenfield, Indiana 46140. Funeral service 10:00 am, Monday, October 30th at the funeral home. Burial immediately followed at McCray Cemetery, Wilkinson, Indiana.
