Rebecca "Becky" Joan Hopper

Rebecca "Becky" Joan (Collier) Hopper, age 78, of Greenfield, passed away Sunday, November 2, 2025, at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born in Shirley, Indiana on October 6, 1947, to Gerald and Jeanne (Wright) Collier. She graduated from Eastern Hancock High School in 1965. Becky received her bachelor's degree in music education from Asbury College and then received her master's degree in music from Morehead State University. She married Mike Hopper on March 8, 1969, in Carthage, Indiana.

Becky worked for Rowan County Middle School for over twenty years. She was a member of the worship team at Brandywine Community Church and accompanied the Greenfield Community Choir for over a decade. The most important thing in her life was her faith in Jesus Christ followed by her love for her family and love of piano and music.

She is survived by her husband, Mike Hopper; sons, Aaron (Christina) Hopper and Isaac (Sarah) Hopper; five grandchildren, Asher, Janna, Aaliyah, Simon, and Judah; and siblings, Allen Collier, Phillip Collier, and Tammy Litten. She was preceded in death by her parents; and infant son, Kevin Michael Hopper.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 7, 2025, from 11:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Brandywine Community Church, 1551 E. New Rd, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will immediately follow the visitation at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at McCray Cemetery in Wilkinson.
