Sharon Elaine Muncy, 78, of Knightstown passed away peacefully surrounded by her family Monday, December 1, 2025 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis following a tragic slip and fall on ice. She was born August 20, 1947 in New Castle, the daughter of Harry and Mildred M. (Meyer) Bever.
Sharon grew up farming in rural Knightstown, was a 1965 graduate of Spiceland High School and attended Ball State University for Business. In her younger years, she enjoyed boating and water sports. She was a realtor with Century 21 and ReMax Real Estate for many years. Sharon was the glue that held the entire family together. She always supported her children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews and enjoyed attending their events and games. She was very active in the community and loved her church family at Wilkinson Church of Christ. She enjoyed flower gardening, knitting, cuddling up by her wood burning fireplace and watching a crime show. She always looked forward to Black Friday shopping with her grandkids for her favorite holiday, Christmas. Sharon was always smiling, full of life, energetic and on the go. She was always thinking of others. She will be deeply missed by all.
Sharon leaves two sons and family to cherish her memory.
