Sondra (Neff) Gullion

Sondra (Neff) Gullion, age 82, of Greenfield, passed away Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at Hancock Regional Hospital. She was born in Crawfordsville, Indiana on March 20, 1943, to George "Jim Buck" and Doris (McAnulty) Neff. She graduated from Granville Wells High School in 1961. Sondra received her Bachelor's and Master's Degree from Ball State University in 1974. She married Robert Gullion on May 6, 1962, in Jamestown, Indiana.

Sondra worked as a school teacher for the Indiana School for the Deaf in Indianapolis for 29 years before retiring in 2003. She was a member of Greenfield Christian Church as an elder, Greenfield Kiwanis as the secretary of the Board of Directors, and Hancock County Retired Teachers Association as the secretary. Sondra was the owner of Second Time Around Shop Reupholstery. She enjoyed reading, women helping women, quilting, sewing, and especially spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Gullion; daughters, Kristina (John) Weingardt and Vicki Gullion; four grandchildren, Ashley (Chris) Summers, Abby (Ben) Bauer, Cassie (Wayne) Gavioli, and John Robert (Sarah) Weingardt; seven great-grandchildren; and sisters, Linda Randle, Penny (Ed) Dyer, and Judy (George) Hannum. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother-in-law, Jay Randle.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at the mortuary with viewing 1 hour prior to the service. Dan Riley will be officiating. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery in Greenfield.
