Brown Summit â€" Amos Faucette, 77, died Saturday, June 11, 2022. Homegoing celebration is Saturday, June 18 in Ebenezer Baptist Church, 2700 W. Vandalia Rd., Greensboro at 11 a.m.; entombment in Lakeview Memorial Park. Hargett Funeral Service is assisting the family.

Amos and Katie and I go way back to L Richardson Hospital back in the 70's when they ran that delicious snack bar! Amos went on to be an extraordinary insurance agent. My husband and I worked at Sears together where we continued to have the pleasure of seeing Amos, then moved on High Point Rd. A true giant of a legend is missing from the earth today. Amos was my insurance agent for a long time. When my son wanted a Mazda RX7, I called Amos and asked him how much my insurance would increase. He said, "If you have to ask, you probably can't afford it." I always remember his words and think of them often. Prayers for his family during this hard time. I extend my deepest sympathy to the family. Because Bronna Ruth and I were friends, I met Amos back in the sixties. He took care of all my insurance needs and provided business advice to my sons. I missed him when he retired but often thought him, believing he was enjoying some fun time after working hard. His impact on this earth was great. RIP Amos...

I have known Amos Faucette as a friend and colleague for over 35 years. We extend our most sincere condolences and sympathy to Katie and the entire Faucette Family. A little over 25 years ago, I was referred to my present company by Amos Faucette for employment. Little did I know that his recommendation in joining the same company would change my life forever. And for that, my family and I are so greatful to Amos and the Faucette Family. We've had wonderful times traveling together, breaking bread together, and working together. I have always valued his sense of humor, his counsel, and mostly, his friendship. You will be sorely missed my friend.
