GREENSBORO Ann Darden Burton Moag, 80, of Greensboro, NC, passed away peacefully at her home on November 30, 2016. She was born on Feb. 12, 1936, in Fayetteville NC, daughter of Hugh and Dorothy Burton. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Harold, daughters Liz Nash and husband Keith and Darden Baker and husband Tommy. Ann is also survived by her grandchildren Sarah Briley and husband John, Thomas Baker and Jamie Lewton, Will Duke, and wife Taina, Emily Graney and husband Justin and two great-granddaughters Emma and Elizabeth Briley. She also leaves behind siblings Hugh Burton, Jr. and wife Gloria, Margaret Turnage and husband Jim, Mary Barrett and husband D.C. and numerous nieces and nephews. A celebration of life service will be held Thursday, December 8, 2016, at 10 a.m. at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church. The family will greet friends following the service. Ann was the heart and soul of her family; a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to all who knew and loved her and will be deeply missed.
