Beverly Utter Obituary
August 12, 1938 - April 29, 2025
On Tuesday, April 29, 2025, Beverly Ann Maxon Utter passed away peacefully at the age of 86, surrounded by her loving family.
Beverly is survived by her five daughters: Becky Evans (Lee), Jill Miller, Pam Craig, Jennifer Bassett (Paul), and Stacey Ofsanko (Jason); 13 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her immense joy. She is also survived by her sister, Susan Roach (John), and a host of beloved nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William (Bill) Utter; her parents, Howard and Adele Maxon; and her sisters, Joyce Hawker and Shirlee Hebblethwaite.
Born on August 12, 1938, in Albion, New York, Beverly was a graduate of Byron-Bergen High School and SUNY Brockport. It was at SUNY Brockport where she met Bill, beginning their lifelong journey together.
Above all, Beverly cherished her family. Her greatest happiness came from being surrounded by their love and laughter. She was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed by all who knew her.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Beverly's memory to the River Landing Resident Assistance Endowment or the River Landing Employee Assistance Fund (https://donatenow.networkforgood.org/brightspirefoundation). Under the "designation" portion of the online giving form, donors can select the "River Landing Resident Assistance Endowment" or "Employee Assistance River Landing."
The family expresses heartfelt gratitude to the River Landing staff for the compassionate care Beverly received.
A private funeral service will be held at River Landing.

I am so sorry to hear of Beverly´s passing. I worked with Bev at Guilford College Family Practice for a number of years. Beverly was such a sweet and caring person.
