Clara Turner was born on May 17, 1925, and passed away 2 days after her 96th birthday on 5/19/2021. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Pete Turner, daughter Kathryn Turner Robinson, son Michael Frederick Turner, daughter-in-law Dora Turner, and son-in-law Bennie Thacker.
She is survived by her sister, Nan Eanes, children Jim Turner (Cathy), Suzanne Thacker, John Turner (Diana), Lynn Sparks (Brad), son-in-law David Robinson, daughter-in-law Vicki Turner, 12 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren.
There will be a celebration of her life on Sunday, May 23, at 4 p.m. at Sedgefield Presbyterian church, 4216 Wayne Road, Greensboro, NC. It is requested that all those in attendance wear masks.
