Donald Angel Obituary
December 16, 1938 - January 25, 2023
Donald "Don" Alvin Angel, 84, of Greensboro, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 25, 2023.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, January 30, 2023 at Hanes-Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel, 6000 West Gate City Blvd., in Greensboro. Burial will follow at Westminster Gardens Cemetery, 3601 Whitehurst Rd., in Greensboro. The family will receive friends and loved ones one hour prior to the funeral Monday morning, 10 until 11 a.m.
Don was born in Greensboro on December 16, 1938, to the late Alvin and Dorothy Angel. He was a member of First Christian Church in Greensboro where he served as a past deacon. Don honorably served in the National Guard for six years. He worked in the auto industry for over 35 years and was an avid golfer until hip replacements put an unfortunate halt to his game. He was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew him. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Carolyn Southern, and two children, Steve Ball and Shanna Lineback.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 40 years, Barbara Angel; son, Troy Ball (Jennifer) of Greensboro; sister, Patricia Seagrave (Powell) of Stokesdale; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and other extended family and friends.

Don was a friend of both my parents, they shared the love for riding the motorcycle years back. Memories that my father shared with me until he passed.
