Donna Ruth Smith Reategui

Donna Ruth Smith Reategui, 65, of Christiansburg, VA, went to be with the Lord on January 4, 2025.

Donna was born on September 29, 1959, in Leaksville, NC, to Robert Durwood Smith and Pearl Harvey Smith. She grew up in Alexandria, VA, and graduated from TC Williams High School.

Donna lived most of her adult life in Eden, NC, where she was an active member of Osborne Baptist Church. She had a heart and talent for caring for the elderly and did this work for many years, compassionately impacting numerous clients and families.

She enjoyed completing puzzles, playing cards, and watching "The Wheel." She cherished her cat Lucy, and was always listening to praise and worship music.

She is preceded in death by her father, mother, and sister, Threasa Smith. She is survived by her daughter, Jessica Arnold (Joshua) of Manassas, VA; her son, Dante Reategui (Dana) of Leesburg, VA, her son, Tommy Feaster of Eden, NC, her son, Michael Cummins (Anna) of Eden, NC; her daughter, Annie Kate Snavely (Tyler) of Christiansburg, VA; her brother, Michael Durwood Smith (Evie) of Sierra Vista, AZ, and her brother, Robert Durwood "Bobby" Smith II (Barbara) of Cana, VA. She had ten grandchildren, all who she adored dearly: Isabella, Noah, and Savanna Arnold; Ryan, Emmi, Mazie, Haven, and Vivia Reategui; and Carolina and AJ Feaster.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 10, 2025, at 1 p.m., at Osborne Baptist Church in Eden, NC. The family will be receiving guests preceding the service from 12:15 to 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Celebrate Recovery program at Osborne Baptist Church (326 E. Stadium Dr. Eden, NC 27288).
