Frances Hodgin went to be with the Lord on January 5, 2021, at Whitestone Care and Wellness Center.
Frances was born on January 20, 1938 in Greensboro, NC to William and Mary Ratliff. In addition to her parents, Frances was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Ratliff and one sister, Betty Lewis. She will be greatly missed by her three children, David (Kim) Hodgin, Mary (Edward) Shelton, and Robert (Sue) Hodgin, seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind her sister, Louise Proctor.
Everyone who met Frances, felt her love of God and people. Her presence radiated and shined through every life she touched. She had a strong love for God and her family.
A small graveside service will be held on Monday January 11, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Lakeview Memorial Park with Reverend Tom Bowling officiating. Social distancing will be observed with a maximum of 25 attendees and masks are required.
Due to restrictions for public gatherings, there will be no formal visitation. Friends are welcome to come, without the family present, to pay last respects to Frances from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. at Forbis & Dick Guilford Chapel on Sunday, January 10.
