REIDSVILLE GLENda Hutchinson Dockery Talley, 55, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Sunday, November 2nd, 2014 at Moses Cone Hospital.Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 5th, 2014 at Calvary's Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Jackie Talton officiating. Interment will follow at Guilford Memorial Park in Greensboro.Glenda was a native of Guilford County and was born to the late Douglas Glen Hutchinson, Sr. and Charlotte Marie Farmer Hutchinson. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased in death by her husband, Russell Lee Dockery. She was a very loving, caring and compassionate individual that gave her time to her family, to others and to her church. She was a "second Mom" to many. Her nurturing spirit created a fun-loving atmosphere for all around her.She is survived by her husband, Jesse David Talley and her previous husband, Duane Wall; daughters: Jennifer Wall Miller, and Angel Warren and husband Roy, both of Reidsville; brother, Douglas Glen Hutchinson, Jr. of Greensboro; and sister, Sue Brittain and husband, Layne, also of Greensboro; grandchildren: Kallan and Joseph Powell and Kairi Miller; and many nieces and nephews. Her best friend, Trish Larimer will miss her greatly. Glenda had a special companion, her dog "Little Bear."The family will receive friends and family on Tuesday evening November 4th, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Wilkerson Funeral Home and other times the family will be at the home.Memorial contributions can be made to Calvary's Hill Baptist Church located at 1121 North Scales St., Reidsville, 27320 or the Lupus Foundation of America, Inc. at P.O. Box 96864 Washington, D.C. 20090.
