GREENSBORO HAROLD MARINO SMITH 68, RETURNED TO the open arms of his heavenly father Thursday, April 11, 2019. Mr. Smith was born August 12, 1950 in Whiteville, NC to the Late Hersell & Mattie Ruth Shipman Smith. He was a Class of 1970 graduate of James B. Dudley High School in Greensboro, NC. Prior to graduating he was drafted into the US Army as a MP and served until 1973. Mr. Smith worked for RJR Nabisco 28 years and First Baptist Church Greensboro, NC for over 40 years. He was proceeded in death by his wife Brenda, Brothers Hydrick & Kenneth Smith, and Grandson Keith Braswell Jr. He is survived by his children LaTonia (Keith) Ellis, Harold L. (Crystal) Smith, LaQuan (Stacey) Graves. Grandchildren Justus Ellis, Danielle Smith, Harold L. Smith II, Gabriel Edwards, and Gabriella Edwards. Great-Grandchildren Keith B. Ellis III, Myster Ellis, Terrence Ellis, Jaylin Walker, Jordyn Walker, and Jaidyn Walker. Siblings Herman (Marie) Smith, Marion (Diane) Smith, Gwendolyn (David) Ancrum, Cassandra Smith, & Victor Smith. As well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The family will host visitors and friends Sunday from 1:30p.m. to 7p.m. and Monday after the services at 1614 Glenridge Rd. Greensboro, NC. Arrangements are being handled by Woodard Funeral Home.
