Hilda W. Savin, 71, died Thursday at home after a long battle with cancer.
She was born in Greensboro, NC on November 25, 1952. She was the daughter of the late Roy Richmond Weaver, Sr. and Hilda Gilchrist Weaver. She is survived by her beloved husband, Mitchell D.
Savin, her adored daughter, Courtney Ageon (Michael), her grandchildren Rylee and Tyler (whom she loved beyond words), her sister, Faye Spivey, her brother, Buddy Weaver (Jane), and many nieces and nephews.
Hilda enjoyed golf, tennis, many crafts and all animals large and small.
Forbis & Dick Funeral Service/North Elm Chapel is in charge of the arrangements. There will be a visitation on Friday, November 15, 2024 from 4pm - 6pm. A private service for the family will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Animal Rescue and Foster Program at 711 Milner Drive, Greensboro, NC 27410.
