James Lyndon Obituary
April 28, 1942 - September 21, 2025
James Michael Lyndon, 83, a longtime Greensboro resident, passed away on September 21st in Pittsboro, N.C. Jim was born in Rome, N.Y., and leaves behind his wife of 59 years, Dot Lyndon; and his children and their spouses, Chris Lyndon (Angie Lyndon), Amy Lyndon (Matthew Riell), and Matt Lyndon (Chele DeRider). He graduated Syracuse University with a BS in Psychology and worked for Revere Copper Products for 30 years, earning Salesman of the Year Award.
Jim leaves behind a legacy of church service at Saint Pius X and at the Franciscan Center. Jim took delight in fishing and camping with his family at Presbyterian Point at Kerr Lake, which held a special place in his heart. He loved dogs, including Riley during his final years.
The memorial service will take place on Saturday, October 25 at 11 a.m. at the Franciscan Center at 233 N Greene St, Greensboro, N.C. 27401. In lieu of flowers, you can donate to the Franciscan Center, care of Fr. Louis Canino, OFM.
