"Jim" James Kitner McLees, 89, of Brandon, Suffolk, UK, passed away on September 22, 2023, in Cambridge, UK. He was born on June 4, 1934, in Greensboro, NC. Jim is survived by his devoted wife, Vivian; his children, Kevin McLees (Lauren) of Richmond, VA; Kristen Milholen (William), of Carrolton, VA; Kirk McLees (Myra), of Fairmont, NC; Merilee Brunet, of Bournemouth, UK; and his ex-wife, Beverly Geer, of Fairmont, NC as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Francis Holmes McLees, his mother, Martha McLees Brown, his brother, Charles Thomas McLees, and his sister, Martha Jean Brame.
A celebration of life will be held November 9th, at 11:30 a.m. at the West Suffolk Crematorium in Bury St. Edmunds, UK. A service will also be conducted at Alamance Presbyterian Church in 2024, with the date to be announced.
