Janice Keith Obituary
Janice Bianco Keith
August 19, 1946 - December 5, 2025
Janice Bianco Keith, 79, passed away unexpectedly on December 5, 2025, at Atrium Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. A celebration of life will be held in mid-January, with details to be announced.
Born on August 19, 1946, in River Edge, NJ, to John and Laura Bianco, Janice was the youngest of two daughters. In 1965, she married Bruce Keith, the love of her life, and together they built a beautiful family, welcoming three children: Michael, Kristine, and Kevin.
In 1978, Janice and Bruce relocated their family to Trinity, NC, where she would remain for the rest of her life. Though North Carolina became her home, she never lost her New Jersey spirit-her distinctive accent and lively sass remained cherished hallmarks of her personality that delighted everyone she met.
Janice touched countless lives during her career at First Citizens Bank and through her adventures at the blackjack tables, where her warm personality and infectious enthusiasm made her unforgettable. She had a remarkable gift for connecting with people and a genuine love for life's simple pleasures, especially time spent with her family.
Her greatest joy came from her role as Mom, Grammy, and GiGi. Recently blessed with the arrival of her first great-grandchild, Janice's legacy of love spans four generations. Her devotion to family was unwavering, and the bond she created will endure in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
Janice was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bruce, in 2011, and her parents, John and Laura Bianco. She is survived by her children, Michael Keith and his wife, Jennifer of Ponte Vedra, FL, Kristine Keith Elliott and her husband, Grady of Winston-Salem, NC, and Kevin Keith and his wife, Devin of Portland, ME. She also leaves behind her cherished granddaughters, Kate and Sophie; great-granddaughter, Ellie; her sister, Lauretta Chiarini; and her very special companion, Roger Blackwell, who brought her tremendous love and happiness over the past four years.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the National Association of American Veterans.
