Jeffrey Daniels Obituary
Jeff was born March 24, 1954 in Burlington, North Carolina, the son of the late Jack R. Daniels and Annie B. Daniels.
Mr. Daniels graduated from Ben L. Smith High School in Greensboro, North Carolina in 1972. He then graduated from GTCC in 1974 with an Associate Degree in Civil Engineering and Drafting. He was employed with Associated Sprinkler Company from 1977 until 2011. He then went on to work at Sunland Fire Protection from 2011 until he retired in 2020. He was an architect for sprinkler fire and safety throughout most of the Piedmont Triad Area.
In his free time, Jeff enjoyed yard work, watching sports on tv and attending games. He was a diehard UNC Tarheels and Atlanta Braves fan. He collected sports memorabilia which you will find displayed all over his home. He also enjoyed listening to a variety of music, especially 70's Rock. But most of all, he loved his children.
Jeff was preceded in death by his father, Jack Daniels.
He is survived by his mother, Annie Daniels of Archdale; his loving wife, Linda of 40 years; daughter, Autumn Daniels of Trinity; son, Jeffrey Daniels II of Trinity, brother Alan (Robin) of High Point; brother Tim (Robin) of Greensboro; sister Debbie McClendon of Greensboro; nephews Chris (Jessica) of Huntersville; Joey (Rebecca); Cory (Emily) of Greensboro, Trey (Nazmieh) of Greensboro; and several four-legged "grandchildren".
Funeral services celebrating Jeff's life will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at the chapel in Cumby Family Funeral Service, 206 Trindale Road, in Archdale, North Carolina. Burial will follow at Guilford Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends at 10:00 am prior to the service.
The family would like to express our sincere thanks to all the doctors, nurses, and staff of High Point Regional Medical Center. We are grateful for your willingness to give of your time, energy, and care.
In lieu of flowers, monetary or memoral contributions may be made to the American Stroke Association at www.stroke.org.
